Company Logo - GKE Productions

Firstly we came up with the name 'GKE Productions' as it is named after my groups first name initials. We wanted to design the logo in the style of a horror. We have used conventions of horror in our logo because we have tried to make it look mysterious, shrouded and secretive like the story line and character in our film and films we have been inspired by. I like the color range of dark blue and black and feel that it does portray horror elements and describe what kind of person the killer is. We were inspired to incorporate a moon by successful film company Dream works. I liked the simplicity of their logo and the calm pale blue colors used in the logo. I wanted to combine the simplicity and moon of the Dream works logo into mine but instead create more of a mysterious, horror type end result.

Katie: Good afternoon im Jennifer Adams

(Close-up of Katie’s head and shoulders)

Greg: And im Geoff Johnson and this is eye witness news at 5

(Cut to wide shot of two news anchors)

Greg: Breaking news, another body has been found, discarded in an isolated field near County Roven estate in the West Midlands.

Katie: Police discovered the body around 3 hours ago and have now took it to hospital for further investigation.

Greg: This is the 3^rd body that has been found in the area over the past few days and police believe it will not be the last

Greg: We will now go live to Tim Rodgers who is reporting from the scene of the crime….Tim can you hear me

(Cut to Field scene)

Kyle: I can hear you Geoff

(Cut back to Greg and Katie in studio)

Greg: Okay, have the police found any more ideas on who this killer is

(Cut back to head and shoulders close up of Kyle, as he continuous to speak camera zooms out to establishing shot and horizontally tracks his walk)

Kyle: The body has been taken back to a forensics lab for further investigation, the forensics team will be looking for clues, but so far the killer is unknown and may.. strike again

Libby screams. Kyle jumps and looks to right dropping microphone. Camera starts shaking and cuts off.

Cuts back to studio

Katie: Were sorry for the inconvenience but we seem to have lost communication with Tim

Greg holds ear piece looking confused, mouthing to people behind camera

Cuts back to field

Kyle: C’mon c’mon! (Camera Man runs handheld shot, shaky, heavy breathing)

Cuts back to studio where Katie and Greg are sitting quietly and bored, unknowing of what’s happening.

Cut back to field where Kyle is running to source of scream

Cameraman: in there, in there! Points to ditch inside fence,

Cuts back to studio where presenters are sitting bored

Cuts back to field. Kyle drops to knees as cameraman runs through gate

Cameraman: What? What?!

Kyle points to ditch where Libby is lying ‘dead’ Camera looks at Libby shakily and then cuts off and white noise starts.

Cuts back to field Camera is on floor with shot of cameraman’s arm on floor

Kyle picks up camera cleans it with sleeve and suddenly looks up in horror and drops camera, Camera is then picked up by killer and starts walking towards Kyle, Camera is at high angle,

Kyle: Please No Please Please, NOOOOO! Camera Cuts to White Noise

Role- Reports from the scene of the crime, gets caught up when he hears a scream and wants to find the source. Is killed by unknown murderer.
Props- Microphone, Earpiece to connect to Geoff

Dead Body – Unknown                
Actress- Elizabeth Aubury
Appearance – Blonde, smaller, Casual wear, navy coat, skirt (not much to state as she will be face down dead)
Character- Still, lifeless, dead
Role- The source of the scream heard during the news report. Explains to the audience the killer has struck again in the area.
Props- None

Film Plot - The Unknown

The film starts in a news studio. The anchors reveal breaking news that another murder has happened in a local park in the West Midlands. The anchors go on to talk about small details such as the fact this isn’t the first reported murder in the area and there has been three in the last few days, they also go onto say that police believe the killer will strike again. The anchors then go to a reporter in the field who is reporting from the scene of the crime. The reporter tells them that the body has been taken back to the lab but no clues or ideas have been discovered about who the killer is. Then a loud scream interrupts the reporter as the camera automatically turns off after going shaky. It cuts back to the anchors in the studio that look confused and think it is technical difficulties. It then cuts back to the cameraman in the field who is continuing to film what is happening even though those in the studio are unable to see. The cameraman and reporter run to the source of the scream where they find a dead body in a ditch. The reporter falls to the ground in shock with his head in his hands. The camerman and reporter talk about what is happening, the reporter looks up at the camera and is shocked (he has seen the killer behind the camerman) This is when the camera cuts off completely and white noise begins, the next time the camera turns on it is bieng filmed from the persepctive who has killed the cameraman. The killer starts to slowly walk towards him. The reporter pleads to the killer to stop but the killer continuous to come closer as the reporter shouts “NO!” The camera freezes on the shocked face of the reporter.
